An ode to old-school circus, watch The Amazing Katleen perfect acrobatic feats, from handstands to balancing stunts – but can she keep her smile as she begins to blunder, and who will help her? With plenty of laughs and a series of blunders later, we learn that The Amazing Katleen is only human, with ups and downs, but fortunately also with a loving family and audience that willingly helps her out. It’s a touching tribute to all mothers who sometimes struggle.
Circ Rodini, the company of Katleen Ravoet and Davide Salodini, was founded in 2020 with the aim of creating a common platform for their artistic work. Inspired by the “old circus,” Circ Rodini seeks to breathe new life into the past combined with giving attention and meaning to what is happening now.
Katleen graduated from AcaPA in Tilburg as a handstand artist and acrobat and co-created the company Le Cirque du Platzak and Les Triplettes. Since graduating and today Katleen has been working for companies like No Fit State Circus, Generating Company, Sprookjes Enzo, Wiener Circus, Circus Zanzara, varieté shows and other venues.
There will be unreserved seating.
