“Thank you again to the cast and crew for bringing CODE to our town – it really did introduce all the issues around county lines and knife crime in an accessible way, and prompted discussion amongst people who have never really thought about it before.”

See inside the County Lines with a story of organised drug and crime gangs, and how its underbelly exploits young people, told by skilled athletes and performers in an adrenaline-fuelled performance. CODE is a spectacular blend of physical theatre, parkour and bike stunts on an urban playground, set to live rap and music and inspired by true case studies.

About The Artist

Justice in Motion is a physical theatre company that sheds light on social injustices.  Through live and digital shows, talks and exhibitions, they reach out to as many people as possible, of all ages and backgrounds. Young people, professional artists and enthusiasts can discover ideas, skills, physical expression and wellness in their classes, workshops and residencies.

The performing company features a talented group of urban sportspeople – trials bike riders, parkour athletes, skateboarders – as well as physical theatre and dance performers. A unique live soundtrack accompanies the performance, created by popular Sheffield-based artist, rapper, and actor Marcus ‘Matic Mouth’ Smith, and composer Quentin Lachapele.
