A chorus of voices come together with raucous chanting and rousing song for an environmental protest focused on the issues surrounding climate change.
Led by inspiring musical director Ali Bullivent, and supported by talented artist and drummer, Godfrey Pambalipe. Chanter Lands seeks to move audiences, in a dynamic offering that recaptures the passion of marching for an environmental cause, singing in solidarity with the planet and each other.
Hull Freedom Chorus is a mass singing project run by Hull City Council’s Arts Development, with over 2,000 members. Each project is unique and gives local singers a chance work with inspiring artists and take part in high profile events across the city. They seek to share the joy of group singing and wow onlookers at every performance and have delighted Freedom Festival audiences annually since their debut at the festival in 2011. The Freedom Chorus have freedom at their core and are ambassadors for our Singing City.
Organised by Hull City Council Arts Development with funding from Hull City Council, part of the ‘Singing City’ choral development initiative.
