Freedom Festival takes place every year in Hull City Centre. We're currently planning out our main festival areas for 2025, but check back for important updates in Spring 2025.
Situated at the end of the A63, Hull is just an hour away from Leeds. There’s plenty of city centre parking in and around the festival areas:

Hull has excellent rail connections with a direct train service to and from London, Hull Trains. The main interchange in the city centre is just a 7-minute walk from our main festival areas.
View On National RailBoth Stagecoach and East Yorkshire Buses service Hull and its surrounding areas out of Hull Interchange in the city centre. You can find your closest route via their websites. If you’re visiting from outside of Hull, you can book a trip here with the Megabus coach service.
Plan your trip with EY BusesIf you’re planning to stay for the festival weekend, there’s plenty of hotels in Hull. The Visit Hull website has a great variety of options to choose from. Stay a little longer and explore Hull! Our Museums & Galleries are free to enjoy, including the Ferens Art Gallery and our wonderful Streetlife Museum and Hull & East Riding Museum in Old Town. There’s an array of excellent restaurants and bars in the city centre, Humber Street and The Avenues.
