On Tech Expo Humber week, we’re shining a spotlight on our associate artists Broken Orchestra who have developed multiple works which mix tech and arts into one.
Watch Re:Score
Earlier this year, many of you will remember attending The Awakening, when the streets of Hull City Centre came alive. Those who wandered down High Street, peering down the snaiths of Old Town, will remember connecting with warm, nostalgic footage from the past projected onto Hull’s historic buildings, and hearing a reimagined, bespoke musical soundtrack.
Re:Score had such brilliant feedback, we brought it back with new music and footage for the late hours at the end of each day at Freedom Festival 22 around Fruit Market.
Now, as a part of our digital programme (supported by KCOM this year), Broken Orchestra and Freedom Festival have uploaded all of the Re:Score films to our website and YouTube channels so you can enjoy them from home too!
This is a signpost for our continued growth of offering digital content from artists worldwide and our investment in new relationships between art and tech.
Artists: The Broken Orchestra, Law Holt, Low Hummer, Katie Spencer, LIFE and Wai Wan.
Part of the Re:Score series.
Presented by Freedom Festival, produced by The Broken Orchestra in association with the British Film Institute, Film Hub North and Yorkshire Film Archive & North East Film Archive
